Classes and Registration

NEW STUDENTS are welcome and accepted throughout the academic year by audition / interview

– Students are placed in levels by physical ability rather than age, keeping an overall maturation process in mind

Classical ballet lies on 3  principles: A) The Turn Out of the legs and hips.   B)  Elevation lightness and jumps   C) Balance  stability and clarity. It is only in accordance with these principles that flexibility and complexity of movement can increase aesthetically and safely. Children in Primary levels,  emphasis is on coordination, body alignment and dance steps in free form.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Students are expected to behave in an orderly, civilized and well-mannered way and to show respect to their teachers. Students should also show respect to other students in their class. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations may result in withdrawal from the School.

  1. Students will be dressed in appropriate attire and have their hair secured properly to present a neat and elegant appearance.
  2. Students will respect things of others in the dressing room

CELL PHONES – ONLINE POSTINGS … Cellular Telephones must be turned off and not in view during dance classes. Cell phones must be turned off during all performances and rehearsals. No posting online any comments that is derogatory towards another person or organization.
