Classes

Primary - ages 4 and up

SATURDAY  –   11:00 am to 12:00 pm

This level leads to future development of ballet technique. The children cultivate graceful lines. They have fun getting to act roles.                                                                         

Beginner - ages 7 and up

Tuesday – 5:00 to 6:00 pm    

Friday  – 5:00 to 6:00 pm  

 Full attention is given to body alignment and balance. Short choreographic works in ballet and character dance are introduced. 

Intermediate ages 9 and up

Monday –       4:30  to  6:00 pm

Wednesday – 4:30 to 6:00 pm

Thursday –      4:30  to 6:00 pm

The practice leads to a comprehensive ballet class and pointe work is started when the student is ready. Character dance and ballet history is added.

Advanced Level- Junior and Senior ages 12 and up

Monday  –      6:00  to  7:30 pm

Tuesday –       6:30 to 8:00 pm

Wednesday – 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Thursday –      6:00 to 7:30 pm

Ballet technique and stretching increases in complexity . The performing repertoire includes studying and performing the great classics: Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake etc…  All dancers are on pointe.   Character Dance, ballet history projects, French ballet terminology and stage appeal along with regular technique and pointe practice are essential  to our ballet dancers’ education.

 

Open Classes for Adults

Thursday  –  7:30 to 8:30 pm

The classes are open to adults with or without experience. The main focus of the classes is to improve body alignment. It can benefit anyone who wishes to gain energy, grace and flexibility. It can also relieve stress.
